Pay DCLA Dues

Annual DCLA Membership dues of just $35 can be paid at anytime but are best paid in the early spring. Members receive 4 newsletters and a winter bulletin, access to the members only webpage, priority notification (if an email is provided) of news and events and higher prize money at DCLA sponsored events. Membership can be paid by cash, check or via PayPal on the website. Click on the Membership link on the website for payment information. Dues are $35 ($36.50 for for fee if using PayPal). Donations above and beyond the $35 annual dues are always appreciated. Once membership is paid, the access code for the members only page of this website will be given. Non-members receive lower prize winnings in DCLA sponsored events, an abbreviated spring newsletter, no access to the members only web page and no primary notifications via email.

DCLA Board Meeting

The Delton Crooked Lake Association Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6 - 8 pm to regularly review and discuss information and resources received from members, township meetings and organizations. The board also organizes and plans social events and newsletter articles during meetings. All board meetings occur at the Delton VFW and are open to the public.

Kick off to Summer at the Bernard Historical Museum! Renew dues, enjoy food and hear updates from guest speakers and DCLA board members.

This an informal gathering with food and time to meet others in the Crooked Lake Community. Meetings notices are listed in the DCLA Crooked Lake Ripples newsletter, emailed to members, and also posted on the Crooked Lake fb page.

Poker Run

Moved to earlier for 2026, join the fun of the Poker Run! After securing tally sheet(s) for $5 each; boaters boat around the lake, draw cards at docks and get treats from other lake residents! Tally sheets can be picked up at the DCLA marked boat moored off the north end of the island. 1st, 2nd & 3rd places are awarded for the best hand.

Always on the 4th - Boat Parade (line up by Stoney Point)

Join others in the annual DCLA 4th of July Boat parade. It is always on the 4th! Decorate your boat with as much or as little as you’d like. The idea is to have fun and celebrate! Line up begins on the northside of the lake near Stoney Point at 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm start led by a DCLA marked boat. All boats wishing to be judged for prizes MUST have a contact phone number with area code prominently displayed on the starboard (shore) side of the boat. A traveling trophy is given to first place, and prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

Here are a few things to remember when participating in the boat parade:

  • Please be mindful of the lakes habitat, try to pick up debris that’s fallen off another’s boat and do not throw any items toward spectators onshore.

  • A contact phone number including area code (legible from the shore) must be displayed on the starboard (shore) side of our boat. DCLA uses this to contact winners. If there is no phone number, the boaters will not be eligible for prizes

  • Stay in line and do your best to keep up with other boat in order to keep the parade going. Do not stop unless you absolutely have to.

  • Be safe and keep a safe distance from the other boats and observe all standard boating rules. 

  • Please follow the route entirely for everyone to see. DCLA has judges all around the lake, and you never know which house is judging!

Scavenger Hunt

The Scavenger Hunt is a fun family and friends event.  Participants will need to download the Actionbound app in order to play and then find, solve and complete as many clues as they can. Clue Sheet(s) are given out and returned to the boat anchored at North end of the Island between 1 - 3 pm.

There is no fee to play, but there are prizes to be won! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for the most complete and accurate sheets.  Members receive higher prize amounts.  All clues are designed to be solved or completed by boating around the lake.  

Note:  You will need a Wi-Fi device with camera
